Production Operative

Location: The Midway, Nottingham

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly and manufacture of products to company specifications
  • Use of hand tools and workshop equipment
  • Quality inspection and packaging of finished products
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous manufacturing experience desirable but not essential

Industrial Sewing Machinist

Location: The Midway, Nottingham

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating industrial sewing machines
  • Manufacturing leather, webbing and medical device components
  • Ensuring products meet quality standards
  • Following technical drawings and work instructions

Requirements:

  • Experience with industrial sewing machines preferred
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Reliable and punctual

Accounts Assistant

Location: The Midway, Nottingham

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing purchase invoices and sales invoices
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems
  • Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
  • Performing bank reconciliations and monitoring transactions
  • Preparing payment schedules and supplier payments
  • Assisting with payroll administration and employee expense records
  • Maintaining customer and supplier account information
  • Assisting with credit control and following up outstanding payments
  • Preparing financial reports and spreadsheets as required
  • Providing general administrative support to the Accounts Department

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an accounts or finance-related role preferred
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with accounting software is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

You may also wish to add:

AAT qualifications or studies in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or business administration are desirable but not essential.
